What are the benefits of Pilates?

Pilates offers benefits such as improved core strength, flexibility, muscle tone, posture, and balance. It also promotes injury prevention, rehabilitation, and enhances the mind-body connection through mindful movements and breathing techniques.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing like leggings or shorts with a fitted top, ensuring they have no zippers that could damage the equipment's leather surfaces. Form-fitting attire allows me to observe and correct your alignment effectively during your session. Consider using grip socks for better traction and comfort, but is not mandatory.

How long is a session?

Your session is scheduled for 1 hour, with the last 5 minutes reserved for any questions you may have.

Are there any prerequisites?

No prior Pilates experience is necessary to begin your Pilates journey, as it accommodates all fitness levels and ages. The only prerequisite is for Duet Sessions, where the initial session typically assesses posture and is more effective when conducted privately. Please inform your instructor of any injuries or physical limitations beforehand to ensure they can offer suitable modifications during your session.

How do Duet Sessions work?

A duet session involves coming with a partner, such as a friend or family member who shares a similar level of experience and fitness.

What is your Cancellation Policy?

Our cancellation policy requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel a session. If less notice is given, you will be responsible for payment of the missed class. To cancel, please email pilatesonrosemont@gmail.com or call/text 778-320-3013.

Do your Packages expire?

Yes, our packages do have expiry dates. Different packages come with different expiry dates. This practice ensures that you receive the maximum benefits from practicing Pilates once to twice a week, and the expiry dates are set accordingly. What is STOTT PILATES?

How do I pay for classes?

You have the option to pay for your session using cash or e-transfer.

What times do you teach and how do I book a session?

I have openings starting at 10am, and I'm flexible with various days and times. Please note that I am not available on Mondays and Wednesdays. Feel free to email or text me your preferred schedule, and we can work it out from there! Looking forward to hearing from you.
